I should perhaps consider myself lucky to have inhabited a life with such a simple goal - to find and live out or through beauty. It doesn't take long for me to find beauty in this digital echo of our world that is the internet, and it's a joy to have myself bowled over by new and wondrous things every time I go looking.
Today I fell in love with a new model's portfolio. I say "new", meaning new from my perspective, though she is quite young all the same. She goes by the name of Miss Mosh on deviantART, though I found her by way of Model Mayhem (via Thrall). Now that the linking is out of the way, on to a short visual playlist which has blown my mind all over again:
I want to own both of those outfits, and to have my doll self look that way, in such a manner as you would not believe.
These two photos are much more gothic in feel and present a visual language which I'd love to master for creating a doll's house some day.
I heartily recommend you try Mosh's Model mayhem and dA galleries, linked to at the top of this article. Now, by some extraordinary coincidence I may finally get around to reading my copy of Gothic Beauty, a magazine which my puppeteer picked up on holiday. According to Mosh's CV, she's actually featured in the issue I happened to grab. I like those sorts of coincidences.
